Hot and Still for Seventeen

Dad and I got a round of disc golf in this afternoon. It was about a hundred degrees and nearly windless for the duration of our round. If I remember correctly, I was around six over. Dad did well, too. He posted his first par at ten. In fact he put in a lot more pars than I've seen him do before. Primarily on the strength of his improved short game.

The first hole was predictive of most of the round: I drove thirty feet past the basket. He drove about halfway to the basket. We both scored three.

The folks who do such things have drained the lake. They've moved the basket for six and entirely eliminated seven.
