Hung out at Tim's tonight. Played Heroscape, drank beer and soda, and listened to Led Zeppelin and Marty Robbins.
This was the first time with the master rules for both of us. We managed to miss out on a lot of the advantages our armies would have given us if we had been in possesion of a clue. Still had balanced games and loads of fun.
In just over three hours we built a board and played three games. Tim took the first two and I squeaked out the last one (IIRC Mimring, Raelin, Vikings vs. Carr, Kelda, Samurai, and Finn). At the end, his last remaining viking warrior attacked Kelda and he rolled three skulls. Kelda only had three defense, but I managed to roll three shields and save her one remaining hit point. (Skull dice have three to six odds, shields only have two to six.) On the next round she finally killed him off.

Posted by: gordon at April 20, 2005 2:50 PMI wish you were rolling the dice last night for the Spurs. They could have used some shooting in the fourth quarter. They missed 17 straight!
