Just finished Spider Robinson's 2004 suspense novel, Very Bad Deaths. The bad guy is really nasty. Bad enough that uneasy thoughts related to this book invaded my dreams.
Very smooth writing style and the author laid down an enjoyable recording.

I was a little disappointed in the ending. I mean it seemed all set up for Xudie to flip the switch that was wrongly set by nature in Alan's brain. I guess that the effects might have been to slow. Alan's intellect might have continued to do something that he no longer enjoyed and actually repulsed him.
