intellectual invitation and conflict
I took them to task for making what is really a false dichotomy between reason and emotion. As humans, I argued, no communication we make lacks emotional content.

Imagining Church
So, let's rethink/reimagine this invitation into something more troubling: Imagine a church where manasclerk holds everyone else in higher esteem than himself. or, if we have to take into account the contemporary understanding of "love thy neighbour as thyself", Imagine a church where manasclerk acts on a strongly held belief that everyone has infinite worth, which fits into my own doctrine of each of bearing the image of the very Creator himself.
